CORTONA

2004

19"x 25"

Collage: Paper, Oil and Acrylic on plywood

Completed in 2004. Cortona is one of the results of a trip to Tuscany and Florence. Have you ever waited 6 hours to get into the Uffizi?

On his return home David dragged out some long discarded work and produced a number of paintings.

Cortona was one of them. It attempts to capture the feel he had for this storied medieval hilltop town.
